Ostara 2019
Its the Spring Equinox today, what are you all doing to mark this today.
This is the Autumn Equinox in the southern hemisphere.
Personally, I am going to rearrange my altar and give thanks but I will be asking for some strength to feel a little better having been ill for a few weeks.
I woke this morning to just see the daylight breaking and what a wonderful sight I saw.
It was amazing and almost made me feel good from just that view.
So, what are you all doing today?

I also woke early but not out of choice so I am feeling a bit like a zombie right now.
Today I will tidy up my altar and have a good rest.
I did notice the sunset yesterday and it was really good and seem to last for ever.
If I feel up to it I might get out to my favourite spot beside the lakes near where I live and maybe feed the ducks.

Re: Ostara 2019
Funnily enough I don't feel too well today and so will be charging up. I saw the sunrise today and the light was as diffuse as the sunset last night. It was mystifying and beautiful and made me feel glad to be alive.
Re: Ostara 2019
I seem to know when the equinox is here can anyone else?
Re: Ostara 2019
I never saw any sun at all where I am but I certainly do seem to know when the spring equinox is here. There's just that little extra magic in the air when it happens. I gave thanks as I normally do and I checked out my book of shadows. I deleted some things I don't need now and added some extra things. I am looking forward to a good 6 months of Summer ahead. That reminds me I need to cut the grass.

This is the time of year when I dust off the old walking boots and look to explore. We have some great countryside around here and I will be out and about for the next 7 or 8 months every weekend. I just love this time of year when the sun returns to warm the place up.
