The Sky At Night

Post by Sky Fall »

The Sky At Night

What a horrible summer so far.
Cold, cloudy and plenty of rain.
The night sky has been least impressive.
I am a night owl and love the sky around one month before and after the Summer Solstice.
Apart from the odd night when clouds were patchy, the sky has not been too dramatic.
There's still some time left for the sky to show off but time is ticking so here's hoping!

It hasn't been good at all, I agree.
However, some mornings I have saw some spectacular goings on with the Sun and the Moon.

Without a shadow of a doubt.
I see the Sun and Moon flirting with each other regularly.
Sometimes I grab their attention ;)

You bet, this is one of the best things you can see, it's magnificent at times.

How do you grab their attention, Sky Fall?

Easy, I drive in the late evenings/early mornings and on my travels in the car I call them into the car. Get rid of the negative energy and that is my "circle". It works for me

The dark nights have came far too early.
I can't remember having a decent summer.
As far as the night sky goes it's been uneventful here recently.

It's been poor in comparison to last year but there's always something special up there to view.
